It just seems that the doors are not opening

He was a pocket full of sunshine

She was a flower bud who had slowly withered away over time

He came in with his sun rays shining wide

She blocked her eyes saying it was too bright

He brought along with him the clouds, the winds, the love birds and the skies

She tried to hide under the sorrows of grief, loneliness and fears

He promised her a life full of rainbows

She remembered her past full of sorrows

Little by little she started getting coaxed 

The clouds bringing the soft and fluffy warmth

The winds gently caressing their love over her face

The love birds showering her hope and dreams

The skies with their arms open wide

A little blush on her cheek

A fast beating of her heartbeat

A small smile on her face

A desire inkling in her heart

A drop of hope into the vastness of darkness

A promise of a new tomorrow!

September 1, 2012. 

Woke up in the morning at a leisurely pace. Made a spontaneous decision to go for a drive with my sister. Took the scenic route along lakeshore road to Burlington. Picked up fresh peaches and coronation grapes along the way. Had an authentic lunch at 'Fournos' in the town of Niagara-on-the-lake. Continued driving to Niagara Falls  while capturing memories. Enjoyed the caressing mist of the Falls on our faces. Kept driving towards Fort Erie. Chose a quiet spot along the lake witnessing a beautiful sunset and a mesmerizing moon rise. A few entries in my journal under today's date. A heart to heart conversation with my sister while listening to the lapping water and fluttering leaves in the wind. A heavenly day! Truly blessed! Amazing Soul Therapy! Thank you God!
