Pain, Yearning and Reality

It has only been a few hours
But those hours seemed liked years
He could not comprehend the fact that she was missing
She was missing only because of him

Her little one had cried her heart out
To find her mother missing
What was he to say to her little one?
That her mother was missing just because of him.
His heart was in pain, filled with agony without her presence

He waited, he cried and he prayed
For her to be all right without any harm
He craved, he longed, he yearned and he desired
To see her safe and sound, without any harm

And when he could not take it anymore
There she came tumbling into the safety of his arms
And the time stopped for both of them
Both were lost in each other's eyes
Both were swept off their feet weaving into their own dreams
Until, they heard the little one crying
And their dreams crashed jolting them to reality.

The Possibility

The sun had started rising slowly over the horizon
It was silently blessing him with its presence
The dark clouds were slowly drifting away from him
Taking away his suffering day after day.

She walks into his class room as a breath of fresh air
Her mere presence fills his life with enthusiasm
His heart starts its pumping by just looking at her
Her stolen glance at him awakens him from within
Her shy smile takes his breath away
Her musical voice sends shivers down his spine
Her touch soothes each and every cell is his body
He feels like he is in heaven, a blissful heaven.
He had started dreaming..dreaming again

The possibility of having her in his life
The possibility of her falling for him
His life is a mere instrument of her hands
Dancing to the tunes of the music she creates
He is just a follower and she his lead
He bows down at her even before the words leave her lips

She was all that they needed, the baby and him
She was all that they wanted
She was their life and their soul
She was the essence of their being
She was the princess, the princess of his dreams.
